Nomad Aviation

Our capabilities in the avionics integration field are directly fueled by the increased experience we have gained over the years.  As an FAA and EASA Part 145 Repair Station, we maintain ratings that allow us to perform avionics modifications, installations or repairs on any make or model navigation, communication, pulse, autopilot or instrument system (and aircraft structures in support of modifications or alterations) on any aircraft with no geographic limitations.

Nomad Aviation employs a staff of seasoned electrical and mechanical engineers capable of seeing any avionics integration project through from concept to test and delivery.  Our engineering staff has an in-depth understanding of the STC process and has a history of working with the FAA on integration projects on a variety aircraft.  Additionally, Nomad Aviation works with a pool of pre-positioned and appropriately rated DERs and DARs on all certification efforts, rather than using unknown sources.

Nomad Aviation is certified by the FAA's Orlando MIDO for PMA (PMA certificate #PQ4017CE), which allows the production of PMA kits for a variety of installations.  Our Fabrication department is well versed in the production of prototype and production wiring harnesses, cables and mechanical assemblies in support of avionics systems upgrades or installations.
