Nomad Aviation employs a staff of seasoned electrical and mechanical engineers capable of seeing any avionics integration project through from concept to test and delivery. Our engineering staff has an in-depth understanding of the STC process and has a history of working with the FAA on integration projects on a variety aircraft. Additionally, Nomad Aviation works with a pool of pre-positioned and appropriately rated DERs and DARs on all certification efforts, rather than using unknown sources.
One of the most valuable traits regarding Nomad Aviation’s engineering department is that every member of Nomad Aviation’s engineering staff has had extensive experience as either an avionics technician or installer prior to beginning their engineering career. This is invaluable in that the design is created not only using good engineering practices, but also a real working knowledge of how to integrate an avionics system on an actual aircraft.
